The Last Lecture

So one of my summer reads is The Last Lecture. It is wrote by a College Professor Randy Pausch. A brilliant man who is a computer scientist who has gone through life chasing his childhood dreams. His biggest dream was to be a Disney Imagineer. He was able to take a sabbatical and find loop holes of why this dream internship was a good idea for a computer scientist who is a virtual reality guru. The reason the book is called the last lecture is because he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was asked to present a lecture to his peers about anything he finds impact-full . He was brave enough to pick up and move his family in the midst of his sickness so his family could be closer to family and have a better life after he passed. He decided it was his duty to give his lecture on Childhood dreams. I have about 90 more pages to go but I am told at the end of his lecture he tells his peers you think this lecture is for you, for my legacy or whatever you think it is about, But really it is for his 6 year old son and 18 month old daughter to know their father whom they never will be able to get to know. He has awesome insights....

If you don't have time to read the book I really encourage watching the lecture!
